Remembering Revathi (1955 – 2020)
Revathi Kamath is one of India’s torchbearers in vernacular architecture. Her revolutionary ideas, socially responsible and ecologically responsive approach to mud architecture is what made our home, Muskaan’s mud-brick home possible.
It is hard to believe that she is no more with us. We remember her for the deep sensitivity and care she held for the earth, for people and the timeless tradition of building with the earth.
