Share your talent, skills and knowledge with children
You can conduct creative workshops with children on music, dance, theatre, painting, film making etc. or on livelihood enhancing skills like carpentry, pottery, book binding, vehicle repairs, computer assembly etc.
Volunteer to share your stories with our children
There is a lot to understand and learn from other people’s lives – you can also share stories of your town, village, of your experiences, studies, work, of your people, of lives of unknown people and places. This exposure enriches and broadens the horizons for each one of us.

Support a child’s education –
An ideal class would function with not more than 12 children to a teacher, but even in our school, a teacher works with about 25 children at a time. We also provide children with one meal during the school hours. You can help in supporting these costs at Rs. 1200 per month.
Support a girl’s stay –
Sometimes, a definite physical separation is needed from one’s daily struggles to be able to believe one can get out of it. The hostel is a space for girls in difficult circumstances to stay and explore how they could do things differently. The space gives them a chance to do things as they would want, and not be driven by external oppressive and debilitating circumstances. One girl’s stay in a hostel costs Rs. 2000 per month. Your contribution towards this would be very helpful.
Support us in building a campus for the school and hostel –
We have always been working out of rented premises. This becomes restricting many a time because of the attitudes of middle-class people towards the children. Neighbors and landlords have found children dirty, noisy or untrustworthy. While we do have centres within the slum, many activities with children are not possible because of limited space. We are therefore in the process of purchasing land and making a permanent place for the school and the hostel. As this is an exorbitant expense and not manageable through a grant from a funding agency, we are trying to raise this money through assignments taken up by our own team and enhancing earnings of Muskaan, and through individual donations. Any amount of contributions towards this would be appreciated.
