Support to Senior Students

We encourage children to finish schooling at least till class 12 as then there is a minimum qualification that is accepted in the present world. As children give Board examinations of class 5, 8 or 10, we have enrolled them in mainstream government or private schools. Sometimes, children have managed to adjust to that set-up and sometimes they have dropped out and then they have continued studying with us to give the examination of the next level through the Open University. There are children who have also rejected what we had to offer, and opted to stay out of schools completely and get married and/or look for work.

Various inputs are provided to make it possible for children to finish high school. Children are linked with tutors for them to understand their subject content in a better way and thereby cope with the school expectations. Some girls have been enrolled in boarding schools so that they can study in a more determined manner and can see academics as something which needs to be prioritized over other things. It helps parents and girls see studies with more seriousness, and not something which is acceptable only until it starts interfering in their custom-accepted routines.
