The Pardhi community living in Rajiv Nagar, Bhopal is in continuous threat of police extortion of money under the threat of implicating in theft. Scrap-picking or at home, children and women are picked up, and violently beaten up in the local thanas, verbally and sexually abused., the police administration justifies this action on the people as they belong to a denotified tribe.
